Article Processing Charges (APC) & Waiver Policy

The International Journal of Social Science and Entrepreneurship (IJSSE) charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the editorial management, peer review, copyediting, production, and online publication of accepted manuscripts.

The APC is payable only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer
review process and has been formally accepted for publication. Payment of the APC
does not influence the editorial or peer review process, and editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of the manuscript's scholarly quality, originality, and scientific merit.

Article Processing Charges

The current APC rates are:
● Authors outside Pakistan: USD 120 per accepted article.
● Authors within Pakistan: PKR 40,000 per accepted article.
Payment instructions and account details will be provided to the corresponding author after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Discounts and Waivers

IJSSE is committed to supporting researchers while maintaining the quality and sustainability of the journal. Upon written request, the journal may grant partial discounts or full waivers of the APC in exceptional circumstances.

Discounts or waivers may be considered for:
● Research students and early-career researchers;
● PhD scholars;
● Authors from low-income or resource-constrained institutions;
● Invited manuscripts;
● Other cases approved by the Editor-in-Chief.

Each request is evaluated individually based on academic merit, financial need, and the justification provided by the author(s).

Editorial Independence
The granting of a discount or waiver does not influence the editorial assessment, peer review, or publication decision. Likewise, payment of an APC does not guarantee
acceptance or publication of a manuscript.
All editorial decisions are made independently in accordance with the journal's Editorial Policy and Peer Review Policy.
