Manuscript Preparation

Authors must prepare their manuscripts using the official IJSSE Manuscript Template and ensure that the manuscript complies with the journal's formatting requirements before submission. A well-prepared manuscript facilitates efficient editorial assessment, peer review, and production.

General Formatting Requirements 

Authors should prepare manuscripts using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx). 
The manuscript should: 
● Be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English. 
● Follow the official IJSSE Manuscript Template. 
● Use consistent headings and subheadings throughout the manuscript. 
● Number all pages consecutively. 
● Number tables and figures in the order they appear in the text. 
● Define abbreviations at their first occurrence and use them consistently thereafter. 
● Use SI units where applicable. 
Authors are encouraged to carefully proofread their manuscripts before submission. 

Manuscript Structure 

A research manuscript submitted to IJSSE should normally be organized in the following order: 
Front Matter 
● Title 
● Author(s) 
● Affiliations 
● Corresponding Author 
● Abstract 
● Keywords 

Main Text 
● Introduction 
● Objectives of the Study 
● Literature Review 
● Research Methodology 
● Results 
● Discussion 
● Conclusion

Back Matter 
● Acknowledgements (if applicable) 
● Funding Statement (if applicable) 
● Conflict of Interest Statement 
● Data Availability Statement (where applicable) 
● References 

Depending on the nature of the research, authors may combine or modify certain sections with appropriate justification.

Manuscript Length 
The journal does not impose strict word limits; however, manuscripts should be concise, well-structured, and sufficiently detailed to allow readers to understand and evaluate the research.
Authors should avoid unnecessary repetition, excessive descriptions, and material that does not contribute directly to the objectives of the study.

Originality and Scientific Quality 
Submitted manuscripts should present original research that makes a meaningful  contribution to the relevant field of study. 
Authors should provide sufficient methodological detail to allow readers to understand the research design and, where appropriate, enable the study to be replicated or validated. 
Manuscripts should demonstrate: 
● originality; 
● methodological rigor; 
● critical analysis; 
● logical presentation; 
● appropriate interpretation of findings; and 
● conclusions supported by evidence. 

Language Quality 
The journal publishes manuscripts in English. Authors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts are written in professional academic English prior to submission. Manuscripts with language deficiencies that prevent proper scientific evaluation may be returned for language revision before entering peer review.
