Article Withdrawal Policy

The International Journal of Social Science and Entrepreneurship (IJSSE) recognizes that, in exceptional circumstances, authors or the Editorial Office may request the withdrawal of a manuscript before publication. The journal is committed to handling withdrawal requests fairly, transparently, and in accordance with established publication ethics.

Withdrawal by Authors
Authors may request the withdrawal of a manuscript before its formal acceptance or
publication by submitting a written request to the Editorial Office. The request must clearly state the reason for withdrawal and be submitted by the corresponding author with the consent of all co-authors.
Where a manuscript has already entered the peer review or production process, the Editorial Office reserves the right to evaluate the request before approving the withdrawal.

Editorial Withdrawal

The Editorial Office may withdraw a manuscript before publication where:

● evidence of plagiarism, duplicate submission, or other publication misconduct is
identified;
● false or misleading information has been provided during submission;
● significant ethical concerns arise regarding the research;
● authors fail to respond to editorial communications within a reasonable period;
● the manuscript is found to be unsuitable for publication following editorial
assessment.

Withdrawal During Peer Review
Authors are discouraged from withdrawing manuscripts that are actively undergoing peer review without a valid reason. Repeated or unjustified withdrawals after peer review has commenced may be taken into account when considering future submissions.

Effect of Withdrawal
Once a withdrawal request has been approved, the manuscript will be removed from the editorial workflow and will not proceed to publication.
If publication charges have been paid before withdrawal, any refund will be considered in accordance with the journal's Article Processing Charges (APC) & Waiver Policy.

Final Decision
The Editor-in-Chief has the final authority regarding the approval or refusal of manuscript withdrawal requests. All decisions will be made fairly, consistently, and in accordance with the journal's editorial and publication ethics policies.
