Editorial and Publication Process
All manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Social Science and Entrepreneurship (IJSSE) undergo a fair, transparent, and rigorous editorial and peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarly research.
The editorial workflow consists of the following stages:
Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts electronically through the IJSSE Online Journal System (OJS).
Initial Editorial Assessment
The Editorial Office evaluates each submission to determine whether it:
● falls within the journal's aims and scope;
● complies with the Author Guidelines;
● meets formatting requirements;
● satisfies publication ethics requirements;
● demonstrates sufficient originality and scholarly quality.
Manuscripts may undergo similarity screening as part of the editorial assessment.
Manuscripts that fail to meet the journal's requirements may be returned for revision or declined before peer review.
Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that successfully pass the editorial assessment are assigned to independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. The identities of both authors and reviewersremain confidential throughout the review process.
Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' recommendations and editorial evaluation, the Editor-in-Chief may reach one of the following decisions:
● Accept
● Accept with Minor Revisions
● Major Revisions Required
● Reject
Revision
Where revisions are requested, authors should submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed response explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed.
Production
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, formatting, proofreading, and final quality checks before publication.
Publication
Following completion of the production process, the article is published online in the appropriate issue of the journal.
