Peer Review Policy

The International Journal of Social Science and Entrepreneurship (IJSSE) employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and integrity of all published research. Under this model, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their compliance with the journal's submission requirements, publication policies, ethical standards, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or declined without external review.

Manuscripts that successfully pass the editorial screening are assigned to independent expert reviewers with relevant subject expertise. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, scientific rigor, methodological quality, clarity of presentation, ethical compliance, and contribution to the existing body of knowledge.

Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or the assigned handling editor will make one of the following decisions:
● Accept
● Accept with Minor Revisions
● Major Revisions Required
● Reject
The final publication decision rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief.

During submission, authors may recommend potential reviewers who possess appropriate expertise and have no conflicts of interest with the authors or the submitted work. The journal reserves the right to accept or disregard these suggestions and independently select qualified reviewers.

Authors are encouraged to ensure that manuscripts are written in clear and grammatically correct English before submission to facilitate an efficient peer review process. Language quality may be considered during the editorial assessment; however, it does not influence the scientific evaluation of the manuscript.
