Types of Manuscripts
The International Journal of Social Science and Entrepreneurship (IJSSE) publishes high-quality scholarly work that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the journal's areas of interest. Manuscripts must be original, scientifically sound, ethically conducted, and relevant to the journal's aims and scope.
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
Original Research Articles
Original Research Articles present novel theoretical, empirical, methodological, or applied research that significantly contributes to the existing body of knowledge. Manuscripts should demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, critical analysis, and clear conclusions supported by appropriate evidence.
Authors should provide sufficient methodological detail to enable the replication or validation of the study where appropriate.
Review Articles
Review Articles provide a comprehensive and critical evaluation of published literature on a specific topic. Reviews should synthesize current knowledge, identify research gaps, discuss emerging trends, and provide recommendations for future research.
Systematic reviews and meta-analyses should follow internationally recognized reporting standards applicable to the relevant discipline.
Conference Papers
IJSSE may consider expanded and substantially revised versions of conference papers for publication, provided that:
● the manuscript contains significant new content beyond the original conference
paper;
● the conference paper is properly acknowledged and cited within the manuscript;
● the authors hold the necessary copyright or have obtained permission from the copyright holder, where required;
● the authors clearly disclose the previous conference presentation or publication in the cover letter submitted with the manuscript.
Acceptance of conference papers remains subject to the journal's standard editorial assessment and peer review process.
Manuscripts Not Considered
The journal does not normally consider the following for publication:
● manuscripts that have been previously published in a peer-reviewed journal;
● manuscripts simultaneously submitted to another journal;
● preprints or manuscripts previously posted on public preprint servers;
● abstracts without full manuscripts;
● incomplete studies lacking sufficient methodological or analytical rigor.
The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to determine whether a submission is suitable for consideration by the journal.
General Requirements
Regardless of manuscript type, all submissions must:
● fall within the journal's aims and scope;
● comply with the journal's Author Guidelines and publication policies;
● meet accepted standards of research integrity and publication ethics;
● be written in clear and professional English;
● successfully complete the editorial screening process before being sent for peer
review.
